FAWU Encourages Members To Vote

2 August 2016

FAWU encourages all its members and staff to go out in full force on Wednesday, 3 August 2016 to vote in the upcoming municipal elections. Many of our heroic political leaders have lost their lives in the struggle for all of us to be able to vote. Voting today is not only an agent for bringing about positive change, but also a tribute and an acknowledgment of the countless sacrifices that have been made by many political activists. It is in the interest of the community to put their mark down next to the candidate of the party which manifesto promises to uplift communities.

Therefore, we encourage members to go out in full force and mobilise their co-workers, family and friends to go out and actively participate in the elections by voting. Every single vote counts. FAWU encourages members to really think about their choice of political party and its respective policy positions before they make that cross. Ask yourself how these policy positions will benefit your and your community. Are you happy with the current situation or do you need things to change?

Make your voice heard! Vote on Wednesday!

Amandla!
